The Limerick Gandelows got a strong performance from pitcher Ramiro Rendón, who stymied the Galway offense en route to a win, 3-2, at Gandelows Park. Limerick bumps their record to 70-50 with the win.

Ranulfo Torres had a big hit for Limerick in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Limerick leading 2-0, Torres hit a solo home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Gandelows up, 3-0.

Rendón called the win a testament to his team's "tenacity."
