The inspired effort of Moncton right fielder Samuel Núñez was not enough to prevent a loss, 7-6, to the Levis Fourches. Núñez went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. With the loss, Moncton sinks to 1-2.

Levis needed the clutch hitting of Celino Murillo to seal the deal. The designated hitter swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Fourches on top, 7-6. For the game, Murillo had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Fourches manager Stephen Glover.
