The Pickering Bonebreakers defeated the Sudbury Meteors, 1-0, in Ontario Baseball Association action at Sudbury Grounds. Pickering pitcher Paul Keys had a standout performance. Pickering reliever Paul Keys picked up the win, while Luis Aguilar took the loss for Sudbury. Aramis Cobos picked up the save, his 1st.

The Bonebreakers got an important contribution from third baseman Radamés Portillo, who in the top of the fourth punched a 2-0 fastball to center for a run-scoring double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Bonebreakers ahead, 1-0.

"Some games build character," said Pickering manager Bradford Haines. "Like this one."

With the win, Pickering climbs to 2-4.
