The Sudbury Meteors took it on the chin, losing, 10-2, to the Thessalon North Stars. Pelayo Fernández, who is rated as the 43rd best prospect by BNN, pitched a strong game for Thessalon. The winning pitcher was Fernández, now 2-1. He tossed 9 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 7. The Meteors drop to 3-3 and continue their inconsistent start to the 1914 season.

Thessalon used the hitting of Maikudi Isa to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the North Stars on top, 8-2. For the game, Isa had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
