Draveurs center fielder Tito Salcido put his stamp on his team's 13-5 win over the Thurso Bucherons. Salcido went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for Gatineau in the contest. With the win, Gatineau improves its record to 3-4.

Clarkin Sweeney had a big run-scoring double for the Draveurs in the top of the fifth inning. With Gatineau leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a curveball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Atenágoras Uribe and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Draveurs ahead, 3-0.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Sweeney.
