Morioka registered a win at Megane-ten Grounds by beating the Sabae Megane-ten, 7-0. Pitcher Hakaru Takamiya was one reason why the Ayame triumphed. With the loss, Sabae falls to 4-7.

Morioka shortstop Satoru Fukui contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the second. With two down, he hit a cutter to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 6th hit of the season and put the Ayame ahead, 1-0.

"We have some nice rhythm to our lineup right now," said Morioka manager George Fields.
