Air Marshals Take Nail-Biter Over Meteors
Nipissing Air Marshals starter Luis Delgado was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Sudbury Meteors, 4-3, in 12 innings. Jonás Díaz snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Aldo Trujillo suffered the loss. The Meteors drop to 3-5, as their stumbling start to the 1914 season continues.

Nipissing got a knockout punch from Ismael Cruz. The second baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We were determined to pick up this win," said Delgado.
