Bonebreakers Win with Late Heroics
The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

Pickering right-hander Iapeto Martínez helped his team edge Brampton by the score of 2-1 in 14 innings. Martínez kept the opposing lineup in check. The win went to Anaximandro García in relief, making him now 1-0. Bashir Royma took the loss for Brampton.

Pickering got a game-changing hit from Seth Ernst. The pinch hitter blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the 14th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a winner.

Said Ernst: "It's just one win, but it feels like more when you outlast a tough opponent."

The win takes Pickering to 6-8.
