August's #1 LN Rookie Named Tuesday, September 1st , 1914 The Rookie of the Month Award winner has been chosen and the Norte honor went to Monterrey hurler Gabriel Rodríguez. For his rock-solid stints in August he has been named the league's outstanding rookie. During the month, Rodríguez was impressive with a 3.20 ERA and 4 wins and 1 loss.
