Week's Top Performer Honored by BFE&W Monday, July 13th , 1914 It was an extraordinary week for Eddie Russell of the Aberystwyth Dragons. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .444, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Baseball Federation of England & Wales. Last week Russell went 8-for-18, racked up 2 home runs and 7 RBIs and scored 2 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Aberystwyth third baseman. Russell is currently hitting at a .311 pace with 11 home runs and 44 RBIs. |
