Ramírez Stymies Gandelows Tuesday, July 21st , 1914 Luis Ramírez subdued the Limerick Gandelows, 2-0, pitching a 4-hit gem for the Cork Salmon at Gandelows Park. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Cork skipper Louis Lewis said. Ramírez registered 2 strikeouts and issued 2 walks in his superb performance. "We just didn't swing the bats very well.
