LBQ's Best Batter Announced Tuesday, September 1st , 1914 Lachute Supercalandres fans may just have witnessed a star player blossoming before their eyes in August. Pomare Lilia put up a remarkable month at the age of 21 and has been named the Ligue du Baseball du Quebec Batter of the Month. For the month, Lilia hit .318 with 5 home runs, 19 RBIs and 16 runs scored. Thus far this year, Lilia has hit .278 with 8 home runs and 41 RBIs. |
