Mahao Premier Pitcher in August Tuesday, September 1st , 1914 In August Nipissing starter, Kekeletso Mahao really put the strong arm on the other Ontario Baseball Association teams and hauled in the Pitcher of the Month trophy. He did it with an impressive 6 wins and 2 losses. In 5 starts and 51.1 innings of work, Mahao limited opposing batters to 51 base hits and a .256 batting average. He fanned 34, issued 6 walks and had a 1.93 ERA. To this point in the season, Mahao shows a 12-13 record, 25 starts, 224.2 innings, 139 strikeouts and a 3.57 ERA. |
