Ligue du Baseball du Quebec Division Maritime Won: Magnets on Top Friday, September 11th , 1914 Moncton Magnets fans are walking a little prouder today after their team officially clinched the Ligue du Baseball du Quebec Division Maritime. "There's no reason to believe we can't win it all," starting pitcher AgustÃn Aguirre said bluntly. "Whether or not we're favorites, we can definitely do what it takes to bring the National Championship of Canada home to Moncton." The division crown is the 1st for the Magnets. The club will be looking for its 1st National Championship of Canada victory. Team manager Plutarco Carrillo said "preparation and focus" will be key to bring home the championship. |
