Acevedo Beats Bonebreakers for 250th Win Sunday, September 13th , 1914 Lisandro Acevedo of the Kitchener Wild Pigeons will go down as one of the league's legendary pitchers after his 5-0 win today against the Pickering Bonebreakers. "It felt like it was a postseason game, one out at a time," said his manager. "It was something special to see." The 36-year-old Acevedo picked up his 250th career victory at Wild Pigeons Stadium. He hurled 9 innings, gave up 6 hits and registered 9 strikeouts along with 2 walks. "I've worked a long time for this," Acevedo said. "I can't believe it's really here. It feels great!"
