OBA Star of the Week Honored Monday, September 14th , 1914 Darren Devenish has the tools to stick in this league for many years. The 23-year-old shortstop of the Thunder Bay Sleeping Giants had a hot bat in the Ontario Baseball Association over the past seven days and won the Player of the Week honors. Devenish batted .562 with 9 hits in 16 at-bats, 2 home runs and 5 RBIs. So far this year, Devenish has hit .310 with 8 home runs, 35 RBIs and 36 runs scored. |
