Plains League Honors Week's Premier Player Monday, September 14th , 1914 Efraín López became the latest recipient of the Plains League Player of the Week Award for his superlative performance this past week. To win the best player honor the 25-year-old Winnipeg hurler tossed a total of 17.1 innings, collecting 2 wins, 18 strikeouts and a 0.52 earned run average. He suffered no losses. This season, López has compiled a 9-8 mark with a 2.47 ERA in 26 starts. |
