Hollyhocks Aguilar Stops Dukes Friday, August 14th , 1914 Francisco Aguilar shut down the Albuquerque Dukes, blanking them, 2-0, on 6 hits, ringing up 4 strikeouts and allowing 1 walk. The Santa Fe Hollyhocks pitcher appeared to get stronger as the game went on. "I don't know if I was getting any stronger," Aguilar said after the game. "I feel like my mechanics were getting better.
