Beaumont Won't Make Playoffs Monday, August 17th , 1914 While the Beaumont Alpinists clubhouse is normally a jovial and upbeat place, things were extremely solemn today. That's because the club is now officially eliminated from playoff contention. Before this season, the Alpinists last missed the playoffs in 1912. In the 14 years they have been a League of the Free Frontier franchise, they have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
