Sindelar Breezes to Shutout Victory Thursday, August 20th , 1914 Stepán Sindelar of the San Angelo Killer Cacti was masterful, pitching a 1-hit shutout, 1-0, against the Marfa Ghost Lights. By going the distance, he was at the same time able to give his bullpen a rest, a fact appreciated by San Angelo manager Disibodo Aquino.
