Yodelers Prevail, as Interdivisional Series Goes to the Wire Wednesday, August 26th , 1914 League of the Free Frontier pundits who figured the Interdivisional Series between the New Braunfels Yodelers and Tyler Pecan Kings would go the distance were right on the mark. The two teams battled back and forth in a spirited series, with New Braunfels coming out on top thanks to a 5-2 win in the deciding game at Pecan Kings Stadium, to wrap things up 3-2. "You get to the last game and anything can happen, so we're overjoyed to come out on top," said Yodelers right fielder Harun Zafir, who was named series MVP. For the series, Zafir had 7 hits for a .333 average. He had 0 home runs, 2 RBI and scored 4 runs. The New Braunfels Yodelers will play against the San Angelo Killer Cacti in the next round. San Angelo won their series against the Marfa Ghost Lights 3 games to 0. The Pennant Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Interdivisional Series finishes.
