In August, Jesús María Sánchez snapped up the Eastern Association Batter of the Month trophy by cracking 17 hits and popping 8 home runs. For the month he hit a solid .378 with 14 RBIs and 11 runs scored. The Tyler right fielder also picked up 9 walks to compile a .481 on-base percentage. For the season, Sánchez is hitting .271, batted in 54 runs with 23 home runs and 74 runs scored. |
