Groves Skunks San Angelo, 6-0 Thursday, September 10th , 1914 Frank Groves of the Santa Fe Hollyhocks overwhelmed the San Angelo Killer Cacti and walked off the mound with a complete-game shutout. He blanked them, 6-0, on 7 hits with a total of 8 strikeouts and no walks. "Frank was on quite a roll," Santa Fe manager Héctor García said. "He gets great late movement and he doesn't give in to the hitters."
