Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Rutland Friday, July 17th , 1914 In the middle of a disastrous season, it would be understandable if Rutland Quarrymen fans had already started to turn their attention to next year. Doubly so as of today, as the Quarrymen have now been officially eliminated from playoff contention. This is the club's 11th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1903. In total, the Quarrymen have missed the playoffs 11 times in their 12-year history. |
