No Playoff Berth Coming for Manchester Monday, August 10th , 1914 Those hoping to see the Manchester Gamblers in the playoffs this year will be disappointed. The club was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. Before this season, the Gamblers last missed the playoffs in 1912. In the 12 years they have been a Baseball League of New England franchise, they have missed the playoffs 10 times. |
