Pol Brennan Top EGLA Hurler Sunday, October 25th , 1914 The Steely-Eyed Missile Man for 1914 has been announced and the Eastern Great Lakes Association winner is Pol Brennan of the Erie Commodores. With a record of 26-6, Brennan was certainly a worthy winner. He made 32 starts and rang up 273 innings, 235 strikeouts and a 2.90 ERA. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Darío Domínguez of the Mentor Rose Stockings finished second in voting, while Eunosto Pérez of the Mentor Rose Stockings finished third.
