Bravo Skunks Peritos Saturday, August 22nd , 1914 Luis Bravo shut out the Las Piedras Peritos, 4-0, on a 2-hit masterpiece for the Salinas Olimpicos at Parquecito de Las Piedras. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Salinas skipper Séptimo Aparicio said afterward. Bravo registered 15 strikeouts and issued 1 walk in pitching a gem. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Las Piedras manager Zabulón Peña after the defeat. This season, Bravo has fashioned a 4-4 mark and 2.06 ERA in 65.2 innings.
