Escondidos Hurler Stewart Tosses Masterpiece Tuesday, August 25th , 1914 In an excellent mound performance, Lewis Stewart of the Quebradillas Escondidos blanked the San Sebastian Husares, 7-0, on a 4-hitter. "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches," he said after the game. In all, the Quebradillas hurler rang up 10 strikeouts and 3 walks in the shutout win. "We just didn't swing the bats well today," said Husares manager Rigoberto Ruvalcaba. "Stewart did a good job keeping us guessing."
