Téllez Magnificent in 1-0 Catano Triumph Saturday, August 29th , 1914 Cenón Téllez blitzed the Arecibo Cachorros at Parquecito de Cataño, pitching the Catano Canoneros to victory, 1-0. Téllez went 9 innings to shut out the Cachorros, striking out 9. "I knew he had it in him, but it's still nice to see him put it all together," said Catano manager Plutarco Silva. Téllez surrendered 4 hits and 2 walks in the outing. Up to now Téllez has recorded a record of 9-5. In 14 starts he has fanned 83 batters in 115.2 innings with a 3.35 ERA.
