Capriotti Tames San Juan Sunday, September 6th , 1914 In a remarkable performance, Guaynabo Cazadores starter Gianfranco Capriotti beat the San Juan Ciudadanos, 12-0, in an impressive 2-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Cazadores hurler finished with 5 strikeouts and 4 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," San Juan manager Barclay Cummings said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
