Henderson Dominates Maricao Monday, September 21st , 1914 Howard Henderson of the Guanica Panas shut out the Maricao Ristretti, 3-0, on 8 hits. He had 7 strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing at Parquecito de Guánica. "He just came out and was on the attack from the first pitch he threw," Guanica manager José Mesa said later. "When Howard stays ahead in the count, he does well. That's the key." So far this year, Henderson has made 16 starts, tossed 134.1 innings, struck out 117 batters and walked 48.
