Rivera Scoops up LMB Top Hurler Award Saturday, October 24th , 1914 This past season was outstanding for Javier Rivera. The Las Marias mound star sizzled with a 12-8 record and captured the prestigious 1914 LMB ExcelentÃsimo (LVP). The Agriados hurler posted a 2.63 ERA in 21 starts with 129 strikeouts and 53 walks in 178 innings. Rivera limited opposing teams to a .252 batting average.
