Heroes-Sultanes Swap: Torres for Duarte Wednesday, October 28th , 1914 Guatire and Caracas have swapped players. The Heroes announced today that they have sent 30-year old SS Celedonio Torres to the Sultanes in exchange for 27-year old C Nicolás Duarte, 26-year old 2B Jorge Pérez, and 22-year old RHP Abejundio Chávez. Lifetime Torres is batting .325 with 221 doubles, 116 triples, no home runs and 551 RBIs in 1088 games. During his career, Duarte has compiled a .267 batting average and collected 286 hits, no home runs and 104 RBIs. |
