Havrda Pitches 4-0 Shutout for Bratislava Tuesday, July 7th , 1914 In an outstanding outing, Bratislava Bojovnitsi starter Michal Havrda tamed the Praha Chasomjeritchi with a 4-hit shutout at Štadión Bratislavy. The Bratislava hurler went the distance, finishing with 8 strikeouts and 2 walks in the 4-0 win. "He had a lot of first-pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to Praha manager Phil Baker. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today."
