Kaneda Gets SL #1 Pitcher Trophy Saturday, August 1st , 1914 Takeo Kaneda is the latest Southern League Pitcher of the Month award winner. The Fukuyama starter shone on the hill repeatedly last month and finished July with a sparkling 7-1 record. In 7 starts he tossed 62.1 innings, posted 27 strikeouts, and put up a 3.03 ERA.
