The Aibonito Frios could not turn a fine performance from designated hitter José Segura into a win. Instead, the Guanica Amigos prevailed, 7-6. Diego Loya was the walk-off hero for Guanica. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Amigos pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Was I getting worried?" said Amigos manager Aldo Martín. "Nope." Then he added, with a wink, "There was never a doubt in my mind."
