The Yauco Corsos beat the Patillas Cuervos, 7-3, at Coliseo Aldo Gallardo. Jake Lund, in particular, was impressive. He went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 3 times. Tito Barrientos picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-1. He struck out 2 in 6 innings. With the win, Yauco is 16-14.
Fionnbár McLoughlin's at-bat in the bottom of the fourth inning was a big one for Yauco. Coming to bat with two out, runners on 1st and 3rd and Yauco trailing 2-1, the designated hitter reached on an error by the 1B, driving in 1 run.
