Ewan Mackenzie, who finished 5th in the LB in ERA with 1.91 in 1901, was locked in. The right-hander led the Coamo Termales to a 5-3 win against the Luquillo Soles at Estadio Pedro González. Halim bin Ishaq provided a timely hit. The Coamo right fielder delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the sixth inning to put the Termales on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
