Leyendas Roll to 8-2 Win Over Poetas
|
The San Lorenzo Leyendas defeated the Toa Alta Poetas, 8-2, in Liga Hostos action at Estadio de San Lorenzo. San Lorenzo pitcher Facundo Ramos had a standout performance. Ramos, now 9-22, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 3, walking 0, and allowing 2 runs. The Leyendas now have a mark of 54-83.
A key moment came in the bottom of the fifth inning when Leyendas third baseman Pablo Ruiz socked a first pitch sinker to center for a run-scoring single, putting San Lorenzo up, 2-0.
