Matadioses Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Ingenieros
The Anasco Matadioses topped the Rincon Ingenieros, 5-3, in Liga Hostos action at Estadio Noé Martínez. The game was highlighted by the performance of Anasco pitcher Matthew Hall. Hall, who leads the LH in complete games with 5, went the distance for Anasco. He gave up 3 runs on 7 hits. The loss puts Rincon at 18-10.

An inflection point occurred with one out in the bottom of the fifth. That's when Matadioses designated hitter Froilán Pequeño hit a curveball from Pascual García for a 2-run single. Just like that, Anasco was up, 3-2.
