Fidel Paredes brought his A-game to help Vieques defeat the Manati Acropolitanos, 2-1. Daniel Juma earned the save for Vieques. The third-place Esqueletos now have a record of 57-84.
In the top of the fifth, with the game tied, Manati allowed the Esqueletos to go up, 1-0, on a Manati error.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Figueroa told the Vieques Bulletin.
