Insolentes Use Late Score to Top Golondrinas, 5-4
|
Fajardo picked up a win at Estadio Rolando Figueroa, bumping off the San German Golondrinas, 5-4. Pitcher Rory Beveridge was a major reason the Insolentes emerged victorious. The Liga Hostos Archipiélago-leading Insolentes have a record of 90-67.
Fajardo took the lead, 5-4, on Hernán Chagoya's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off San German pitcher Valeriano Partida in the bottom of the eighth.
"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Insolentes manager Jack Beach.
