Estadio Víctor Nieves was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Camuy Murcielagos and Luquillo Soles.
Cedro Piñeda led Camuy to a win over Luquillo. The final score was 6-5. Piñeda, who won the Nobilísimo in 1904, collected 2 runs batted in, while going 2 for 4 at the plate. The second baseman also scored 2 times. Sabino Ávila closed the door for Camuy, picking up his 13th save of the year.
Piñeda had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth, when he hit a 2-run single. The Murcielagos went on to win.
"We did a lot of good things tonight," said Camuy manager Juan Romero.
Camuy now owns a record of 83-59.
