Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the San German Golondrinas and Caguas Coquis.

San German Golondrinas left-hander Álvaro Salas pitched a good game against the Caguas Coquis at Recinto Municipal Lola Rodríguez de Tió, leading his team to victory, 6-4. Valeriano Partida picked up the save for San German, his 20th of the year.

Duffy Lewis had a big run-scoring double for the Golondrinas in the bottom of the fourth inning. With San German leading 4-3 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a splitter from Ramón Ayala and swatted a double to center. It was his 23rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Golondrinas ahead, 5-3.

"I was able to fill up the zone," said Salas.

The Golondrinas are now 76-70.
