Hernán Ocampo was terrific for the San Juan Metropolitanos in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Penuelas Guiristas. His performance earned Ocampo rave reviews. In 8 innings, Ocampo surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 4. He allowed 1 run. Íñigo Espinosa, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 12th save.

Polideuco López had a big 2-run double for the Metropolitanos in the bottom of the fifth inning. With San Juan leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a knuckle curve from 31-year old right-handed pitcher Juan Rivera and swatted a double to right. It was his 35th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Metropolitanos ahead, 3-0.

"Hernán kept his poise and got the job done," said San Juan manager José Bernal. "He was outstanding."

With the win, the Metropolitanos have a record of 73-78.
