The home crowd had a good time watching the Yauco Corsos and Aguas Buenas Mulos get after it.

The Aguas Buenas Mulos defeated the Yauco Corsos, 5-1, in Liga Betances action at Coliseo Miguel Chávez. Aguas Buenas pitcher Ignacio Lozano had a standout performance. Their 112-56 record puts the Mulos first in the Liga Betances Cordillera Este.

The Mulos got a big boost from center fielder Alarico Carreón who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Corsos hurler Santiago Ayala. It was his 61st walk of the season and put Aguas Buenas on top, 1-0.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Carreón told the Aguas Buenas Times.
