Castillo, Matadioses Get 2-0 Win
The Anasco Matadioses got a rain-soaked win over the Yabucoa Dulceros.

In a tension-filled contest between the Anasco Matadioses and the Yabucoa Dulceros, pitcher Eulalio Castillo was superb. The Anasco left-hander, who is tied for 10th in the LH with a 6.0 K/9 rate, spearheaded his team's 2-0 win. Picking up the save was Stuart Boyle. He's now 12 for 14 in save chances.

The Matadioses liked what they saw from Castillo. The 21-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Dulceros to no runs on 2 hits over 7.1 innings, and striking out 5.

"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Castillo.

Anasco now has a record of 73-71 with the win.
