The Carolina Tumbabrazos picked up a win at Estadio de Jayuya, downing the Jayuya Cerros, 6-3. On the mound for Carolina was right-hander Constantino Vázquez, who played a pivotal role in the win. With this game in the books, Carolina is 77-70, Jayuya 60-87.

Joseph Cros came through with a big-time hit for Carolina. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 5-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

Carolina manager Leo Reyes was pleased with the team's effort. "It was just a good, gutsy performance by everybody," he said.
