Comerio got a valiant performance from pitcher Buenaventura Parrales, but it wasn't enough to beat the Cidra Palomas. Cidra won the game, 6-3. Parrales threw 7.1 innings allowing 3 runs for the losing team. The Palomas improved to 92-58.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the ninth, with the game tied, Enrique Santos was at the plate when Cidra scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Palomas to go in front, 4-3.

"I like to lead by example," said Santos. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."
