The Guaynabo Libertadores picked up a win at Estadio de Morovis, courtesy of Eugenio Santos. The right-hander helped his team stop the Morovis Sanisalvos, 3-2. At 54-94, the Libertadores claim third place in the Liga Betances Metro Central.

Guaynabo used the timely hitting of Telmo Tarín to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Libertadores on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I was dog tired," said Santos. "But I really wanted to finish the thing off."
